Q: Is the Covid Busters disinfectant safe around people and pets?

A: Yes. It is odorless and requires no rinse and does not alter the taste of food prepared on sanitized surfaces. It is safe to use in HVAC systems and in areas frequented by the public, or those who are in contact with the public.

A: Electrostatic spraying should not be conducted anywhere near defibrillating equipment.

Q: If coronavirus is spread from person to person, how does treating surfaces help?

A: According to the CDC, Coronavirus (COVID-19) is primarily spread from person to person, in which one can become infected from respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks. The virus can also be transmitted by touching contaminated surfaces and/or objects, and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.

Q: How does electrostatic spraying work?

A: Virus Busters' sprayers use state-of-the-art electrostatic technology. It's easily demonstrated when articles of clothing cling together or when you get a shock from a doorknob. Electric forces that are both negative or positive repel each other. Opposite charges attract each other. Objects at rest hold a negative charge. Virus Busters' sprayers impart a positive electrical charge into the disinfecting mist, causing it to wrap around and cling to surfaces, providing full disinfecting coverage of the surface.

Q: How much does it cost to have Virus Busters disinfect a space?

A: Our technicians are highly efficient and the equipment they use allows fast-acting chemicals to work up to 10 times faster than conventional disinfectant spray, with exceptional coverage that is cost-efficient. Contact us for an estimate based on the square footage of the area(s) you need treated.
